Slow-Going

Well, things have been slow-going lately, which should explain the lack of new posts. We knew when we started that we would hit a slower time in the winter. We just weren't expecting the biggest snow in ten years to hit, and then to be followed by snow off and on for two more weeks!

This past week though we came out of the cold snap and it quit snowing for a couple days. Students got back to school, teachers got back to teaching, and it got nice enough for the guys to be able to work on our home. Bobby and I went out there on Friday afternoon, and took a few more pictures of the progress.

We found some more plywood framing had gone up...this is in a guest room.

The framing for the wall that will go between our bedroom and the garage. This is looking into the garage right now!

Here I am acting like I am eating something...I was just so excited to see more plywood in the Breakfast Nook :)

This is the back of the living room. The first opening will be a doorway to the back porch, and the second opening is the window looking out to the same porch.

Finally, Bobby climbed through quite a bit of mud up towards the top of the property and took several cool shots of the house! Enjoy!

It is still so much fun watching our home take shape!!
